Hi
I am looking for an option in Nagios xi or Nagios core, where the SNMP traps should not be sent for hosts but it should send for services.
I had disabled notification for host from nagios core(attached snapshot for reference), but it doesnt look like it worked.
Thanks
Deepan

Re: Disable traps only for hosts not services
Do you mean the SNMP Trap Sender component where XI sends traps to a trap receiver?
If so, you would go to
Admin -> Manage Components -> SNMP Trap Sender -> Edit Settings
Under the Hosts column, select "None"
Click Apply Settings

I got your point,scott.
This is for only couple of servers not for all the servers that we are monitoring in that nagios instance. We are having 300+ servers being monitored in that instance.Out of which only 2 , we wanted to disable the host level traps.

Unfortunately at this time there is no builtin mechanism to turn off sending for specific hosts.
