Always on Availability Group

Post by RIDS_I2MP »

Hi Team,

We have a new request to configure Nagios monitoring on SQL servers in which we have "Always on Availability Group" feature.
Below is detail that we received from our DBA team.

"Always on Availability Group is high availability feature in Microsoft SQL Server, in which database services would be up on both the cluster nodes, one node would be Primary and other Secondary.
Could you please explore the options to configure the Nagios Monitoring for ‘Always on Availability Group’ in SQL Server "

Kindly, help me to understand the options available for it and how we can achieve in Nagios XI.
Please let me know if you need any other information.

Thanks!!
Thanks & Regards,
I2MP Team.

I did some searching around and didn't find anything existing specifically for this.

You may want to ask them if there is some mechimism in SQL that they can get this status, if so you could use the Query wizard
