Free Variables added via the API not showing up

Version 5.6.8

When I'm adding new hosats via the API I also add some custom free variables, they initially show up-

But then when I click on that its blank-

The code itself seems to be ok because it doesn't fail all of the time... 90% of the time its works fine and adds the variables

That problem was a known issue which was fixed in 5.6.9.

If you're able, there have been at least a few other improvements in the last few months, and it might be worth updating to 5.6.12.
