Issue with plugin info.

Post by gshergill »

Hi Nagios Community.

I have a few problems with the information being displayed from the plugins.

For example, it says 1 user is logged to the router (not possible...).
1 user is logged into the chat server - at least 5.
Processes all show 41 processes... No idea why all are the same.

Thank you

Which plugins are these? And what version of Nagios are you running?

Hi again.

The main one with the issue is check_users, the information it displays is definitely wrong.

I'll be downloading the Nagios XI trial today or Monday and will try that out, see if the issue persists. Don't mind spending money if it's good.

However, we have a big requirement of IPMI support, does Nagios XI support it?

Also as we have a number of hosts, is there auto-discover on XI?

Thanks.

Nagios XI does have auto-discovery, and it also supports IPMI through its backwards compatibility with Nagios Core (although there is no graphical wizard for it). However, the plugin that Nagios XI uses for checking users is the same one you're currently having trouble with, so there is a chance you may encounter the same issue on XI.
