After upgrading to 5.7.1 monitoeing engine stops

Post by vijilants »

agios XI - System Info
System
Nagios XI version: 5.7.1
Release info: cedarnms1 3.10.0-957.5.1.el7.x86_64 x86_64
CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core)
Gnome is not installed

Hi,

We have noticed that after upgrading to 5.7.1, every time we apply a configuration, the red warning appears and the monitoring engine appears to show that it has momentarily stopped.

This is happening on both our Nagios systems.

Can you please advise.

Thanks

If you're on 5.7.0 or 5.7.1 the developers that is normal right after an apply configuration, they currently truncate the tables on apply config so it can take up to 6 minutes for it to be fully up (depending on how large your system is), this should be fixed once 5.7.2 is released in the next week or so, they are going to stop that truncation from occurring.
