We are trying to setup custom fields in email notifications. I read the article below and I was able to configure "Notes" to be displayed, however if I am reading correctly "Comments" will not be able to be displayed in an email notification if %type% is acknowledgement. The hope was that we could add a comment in the section that would be included in the notification prior to them potentially being ACK'd
Can this be done by specifying the comments section as a different variable?

Desired Process Flow-
User adds a comment using the web UI (Command, Add Comment)
Comment is added, if someone is checking and a service did not alarm they can read the comment
If the service does go into a HARD state. Comment is included in the email
Comments in email notification without being ACK'd
Comments in email notification without being ACK'd

Re: Comments in email notification without being ACK'd
Hi @jkimmel,
That's a very good question. Below is a list of all the standard macros that are available in Nagios Core.

However, I'm not seeing a direct macro for standard host and service comments. I'm going to do a bit of research on this with the support team and get back to you shortly.
Thanks for your patience.
