Client agent side configuration for cluster instances

Hi,

Does client agent side should be configured to sent logs to all the instances in the cluster as I don't see it documented anywhere its only how to add a instance to cluster is documented and wondering how this cluster will be useful when one of the instance goes down then how client knows to send logs to the live instance.

The client should be configured to only send to one instance at a time with failover being controlled by the client or via a load balancer.
