Notification upgrade NagiosXI R3.3

Post by twigg0 »

Hi all,
today i've upgraded to the latest version of Nagios XI [2011R3.3].
I have a problem with notification. Notifications are sent even if the service is in a recurring downtime...
Obviously yesterday is working fine..so I think the problem could be only the upgrade... (logs of the upgrade process says everything works fine!)

How can I solve this problem??

Thanks to all

Bye

Just to clarify, did the downtime schedule? Did you get the downtime notification?

This is strange, how close to the upgrade did this event occur? There was some logic changed on how core handles downtime and this could be an effect of transitioning from the old to the new.

Has this occurred since?

cvenkata,

Did you receive a message that the host/service came out of downtime?

What version of XI are you running?
