Hi,
Is there is a quick way to disable notification for a certain service that is mapped with a host group? We are going to make changes to the service monitoring for some host groups and I am looking for a way to temporarily disable a notification when we are working on it.
I know schedule downtime will work but the no. of service we are going to dealing with are 1000+.
THanks,
Nish

Navigate the the Service Status Detail page for this service, click the Advanced tab
In the Service Attributes section, you can click the X next to notifications in the Action column and it will stop notifications for this service.
When you are done with your changes you will want to come back here to re-enable them

Hi,

I would recommend using the Bulk Mods Tool. Go to Configure > Tools > Bulk Modifications Tool > Change a single configuration option > Notifications Enabled..... then apply the change to the host group. Is there is a quick way to disable notification for a certain service that is mapped with a host group?
