Memory Requirements/Recomendations?

Post by lazzarinof »

Good afternoon,

In going over your youtube channel and this forum, I've seen (a few times) that 60gb is the maximum amount of memory you should use for any individual instance in a cluster, or you can experience significant performance hits. Each time it mentions scaling up/adding another instance, instead of trying to push the memory up on a single instance.

However, each of those recommendations was a few years old: is that still considered the upper limit?

Thank you,
Frank

Hi,

I talked to the NLS developers and they said that those recommendations are correct. They
are dependent on the ElasticSearch embedded in NLS.

Thanks
