how to enable cflow

Post by xkkang »

Hi,

We have network devices which support only cflow(Cisco Viptela SD-WAN).
I don't see cflow support from the Incoming Flow Type.
How can I enable it on Nagios Analyzer?

From the product page:
The powerful home dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of critical netflow or sflow data sources, server system metrics, and abnormal network behavior for quick assessment of network health.
I don't know anything about cflow, but it appears to use netflow as the data transmission standard. If this is the case, I imagine you'd simply point the cflowd daemon at Nagios Network Analyzer as the collector.

If cflow is not using netflow or sflow as the data transmission standard, I imagine you'd have a hard time ingesting the data into Nagios Network Analyzer.

The cflowd software implements cflowd version 10, as specified in RFC 7011 and RFC 7012. Cflowd version 10 is also called the IP Flow Information Export (IPFIX) protocol
