With the departure of CentOS as we knew it, can we get Rocky Linux added to the accepted distribution list during installs?
rocky8 is not currently supported. Please use one of the following distros:
CentOS, RHEL, Oracle 7, or 8
Ubuntu 16, 18, or 20 LTS
Debian 8, 9, or 10
Rocky Linux
Re: Rocky Linux
Hi
This is what is currently supported (note CentOS Stream 8): I will put in a "Feature Request" on your behalf to add support for Rocky Linux.
Please keep in mind that the decision to implement an enhancement is at
the discretion of our development team.
Thanks

Re: Rocky Linux
Thank you @gsmith.
IHO, CentoOS Stream 8 is not a viable option for running a production server. Rocky Linux, being closer to what CentOS is/was and developed by the same team, I am hopeful to see Rocky Linux on the list.
Thanks again.
