Monitoring recording via Nagios or similar

Post by BrusterThemand »

I'd like to automate monitoring BI to ensure that it is continuously recording and saving footage. It's happened a few times where BI just stops storing footage and I don't find out until a week or two later.

I am using LibreNMS (similar to Nagios) and would like to have it monitor BI. How would you go about this? TIA

If we change the service description to “disk_usage” (remove the space), the PUT works without issue.

To monitor business intelligence with Nagios XI, you can use Nagios Business Process Intelligence (BPI), which is an advanced grouping tool that allows you to set more complex dependencies to determine group states.
