I received an alert that the scheduled local backup failed for one of our systems. I checked all three in the UI and they reported successful backups, including timestamp and backup size. I then went to check /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/scheduledbackups.log and noticed the timestamp names for the last backup did not match the last backup. I converted the timestamp and discovered that the log hasn't updated since I upgraded Nagios XI to v5.11.1. I verified that all of our Nagios XI systems are not updating the scheduledbackups.log.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? I'm not sure if this is a bug or something else. I checked the change log for 5.11.2, and didn't see anything that would indicate a fix. I also didn't want to go as far as deleting the scheduledbackups.log without first trying to diagnose the cause.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks...John

Re: Scheduledbackup.log not updating since upgrade to 5.11.1
Thanks Laura, I'll look into that if we receive additional alerts concerning the backup not completing successfully. I now think the issue is related to deleting the oldest backup.
For the log file issue, I found that deleting the scheduledbackup.log recreated a new one, which is now updating.
I'm still monitoring to make sure everything is working as expected.
