CHECK_NRPE: (ssl_err != 5) Error - Could not complete SSL handshake

Post by smithml »

we migrated our NagioxXI 5.7.4 from the older Centos7 environment to a new RHEL 8 server. We've got most of everything running except for this NRPE SSL error I can't figure out. CHECK_NRPE: (ssl_err != 5) Error - Could not complete SSL handshake Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are the check_nrpe commands the same on the new and old systems?
Have a look at this.

This is gonna suck to tell you but change over to NCPA. I know its a pain in the ass but make life so much easier in the long run....

Pretty much everything can be migrated in 2024 and even so, you can treat most NRPE things like NCPA plugins and they tend to work
