Looking for 2024R1.1.1 OVA for sideways migration

Post by mike-d-howell »

Hello folks,

I have a 2024R1.1.1 appliance on CentOS 7, which is EOL. Trying to upgrade to current, making as few changes as necessary. I had resigned to migrate sideways to a new 2024R1.1.1 Ova appliance for ESX, but only 2024R1.3.1 Ova appears to be available for download.

Documentation says source and target versions must match. Is there a way to get that 1.1.1 Ova? Or perhaps a way to downgrade the 1.3.1 appliance to the target version? Alternative way forward? Thanks!

Hey Mike

Unfortunately we don't have old OVA files listed. One route that you could take is to migrate to a tarball version of 2024R1.1.1 and then upgrade from there. It's a little bit more work setting up than an OVA but its not too bad installing via tarball. I'll attach some documentation below for guides to do so if you want to give it a shot. Hope this helps.
