Are you able to verify the SMTP settings you're using here? This looks identical to the error I get when I have invalid settings for my SMTP config, so I'm wondering if there isn't possibly something wrong as it looks like the error is that your XI server can't connect to the specified SMTP server. Is your SMTP server SSL-enabled?

Anybody knows how to remove the client id and secret key from the nagiosxi server. Im unable to clean the settings

Hi manesh,
The file for GMail credentials should be /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/oauth2/providers/NagiosXIGMailDefault.json. The file is encrypted, so the easiest thing to do is delete/move it.
I created an feature request to add functionality to delete/clear the credentials from the UI.
