Hi, hope you're doing well.
I am trying to remove a critical alert from the Nagios dashboard (Service Status Summary) as it is too repetitive. But I cannot remove the service check itself since I need the serivce check to send out alerts to SMS/email notifications.
Is there a way to do this? Or any workarounds to filter out that service from the dashboard?
Thank you.

What we see as alerts are just the varying status of checks. Nagios sends notifications based on the status of checks. It also displays the status in varying colors. If I understand what you want, I don't see a way to get it.
You can adjust the retry interval and number of retries, but neither changes the displayed status.
