Let me start by saying I am a total newbie with Linux!
I am running Linux Mint LMDE 6
I ran through the install info and selected the “Setting up the ISO” route
Everything went well up to and including the scp command, when I attempted to extract the tarball I received numerous
errors relating to “Read-only file system”.
Where do I go from here please ??

What exactly are you having issues setting up? Are you trying to get Nagios XI set up and are having troubles? If so the Linux system you are running on isnt supported by Nagios XI so you will run into issues there. I will attach a link to show the linux distro's we support down below and some documentation for the installation process. If you are having trouble installing something else like NCPA let us know.
