Prevent Recovery Notifications After Re-Enabling Notifications in Nagios XI

Here's a timeline from the reports. It looks like that disabling notifications in the middle of an outage does not stop the recovery events from going out after you enable notifications again. Might have always been this way and never really noticed. However, in these rare cases, we want to avoid sending out any alerts, including recovery.

Note: This is a small subset of the amount of alerts that went out.

You might check the xi_events and the xi_meta tables before enabling notifications.

I'm pretty sure that should not be happening and I completely understand your concerns. Do you have a non-standard setup? In any case, I would highly recommend opening a support ticket about this.

Thanks Cole. I did some testing in our QA environment and I can confirm the issue occurs there as well. Standard setup. I'll open a support request.
