Duplicate Emails triggering for same alert after upgraded to Nagios XI 2026R1 from Nagios XI 5.8.6

Dear Nagios Support,

We have been upgraded Nagios XI version from 5.8.6 to 2026R1 version since then we are receiving 3 duplicate mails for same alert due to which the defender is blocking emails. so kindly suggest what could be the issue and how to resolve it.

configuration duplication or overlapping notification logic introduced or exposed by the upgrade, not by Nagios XI malfunctioning. A careful review of contacts, contact groups, templates, and notification commands should identify the root cause.
