Trying to get off a server with offline installation. We setup a new server and installed the same version of NagiosXI on it (2026R1.0.1). Did a backup of the old server and restored the backup on the new server per the instructions at
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... -2024.pdf
Everything looks like it ran properly, and it looks like all of our hosts and services are present in the lists but when I click on any service I get "Object does not exist" error in the GUI.
Thanks,
Dave
Object does not exist after restore
Re: Object does not exist after restore
Hello @davemulv1,
Have you tried repairing the database? https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... abases.pdf
It's hard to say for sure without digging in deeper, but that seems the most likely cause to me.

Re: Object does not exist after restore
Awesome! That seems to have corrected the issue.
Got another likely DB related issue. Although the DB repair came back with no hard errors, when I look at service status in the GUI I have somehow managed to get this one entry at the top of the list that has a blank hostname and service name of '0'. If I click on that '0' link I get an object does not exist error in the GUI. Can't find it in the core config manager. Any tips on getting rid of that?
Thanks,
Dave
