Log path for Nagios Agen on Remote host (Solaris)

Dear All,
We have successfully configured Nagios on our servers. While configuring oracle logs monitoring on remote servers we are getting some error while accessing this logs whereas some of the logs are readable. We suspect that error is due to permission on some log files but in order to conclude we would like to know if there are any logs generated locally on the Agent server (Remotely) for such issue.

Note - We can't change the permission so easily due to security concerns.

The log facility is set in the nrpe.cfg on the remote machine as well as the ability to turn on debugging
