Duplicate entries

Duplicate entries

Hi,
Two admins entered the same server and a service, one was upper case and one lower case.

Deleting the uppercase entry did not remove it from the system and it still displayed we then removed all services and the host entries, the config file was then invalid.

The lower case host was still being looked for and the uppercase services was also being looked for but was in the config.

Receating the host in lower case which is our standard resolved the config failure but it still shows the uppercase hostname and service in the services status screen, all other referances are now in lower case as expected. If you change the case of a host or service that exists does this create a new entry ?? as it would appear that is how this occured

Try renaming to something new(like add an extra 'x' to the end). Then name back.
