i will be using ssh and check_oracle plugins only...
i currently have ssh port open between nagios xi and other clients that i would be monitoring....
i assume check_oracle uses tns entry for connectivity...my listener ports on clients are either 1521 or 1527....
i need to know if there is any other port that needs to be opened between the nagios xi and the client machines that i am monitoring

Re: Oracle Plugin timeout
Have you attempted using the following to increase the timeout range?:
--timeout 300
The developer's site has a tremendous amount of information on these plugins:

Re: Oracle Plugin timeout
I believe that should be it for the Oracle check, and they would be outbound connections from the XI server to those ports
