Is there any way to get rid of the disabled.gif icon in the nagios web interface, when changing from active to passive checks?
Thanks

You may be able to remove it from the css sheet manually or remove the .gif completely "I am not sure of the effect," though your changes may be overwritten by an upgrade. To do this, you could use a "in-browser addon" like Firebug to find exactly where the element is located and in what file.

Thank you, i found it is hard-coded in the extinfo.c and in the status.c cgis, so I think there's no way to cheat it in the css file; i'll change the disabled.gif icon then

Erasing the gif gave an ugly square, so I made a fully transparent one (just the canvas + full transparent), renamed it, and it is now working as expected

Great! You could always change the CGIs if you are really bored. Locking thread.
