Hello all,
I have been attempting to construct a BPI view that monitors the applications my organization is running. These applications typically are comprised of several different servers running a variety of services/processes on them that the app needs to be fully functional (web servers, DB's, etc.). My goal is to have a collapsible tree hierarchy where the top tier shows the app's name then further breaks down to the individual servers and subsequently the services being monitored on each server. However, I cannot seem to expand the tree every time I create a new BPI group despite adding child services and/or hosts to the group just as it is demonstrated in the documentation and tutorials I have gathered. The BPI installation we have running on our Nagios XI instance came with two sample BPI groups that provided an example tree that expanded and collapsed to show and hide the various hosts and its checks. Despite copying the config with exception of the host being monitored, only the sample one that was provided show the lower level objects while the other BPI group that I created does not even though both have been expanded. Ideally, I would like to put together a multi-tier structure such as the sample BPI groups that were provided.
Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

New BPI groups do not expand to show child hosts/services
Re: New BPI groups do not expand to show child hosts/service
There is a new version of the BPI component available that, I believe, fixes this bug.
It can be downloaded from http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/exch ... iosbpi.zip
Install through Admin -> Manage Components
