I solved one problem and got into another.
The broker was not logging anything because I had forgotten the
option event_broker_options=-1 in nagios.cfg.
Now, it is working but only writing to a text file. If I set up to
connect to ndo2db via unix socket or TCP socket, the ndo2db dies on the
first connection from the nagios broker.
I am using Fedora Core 3. Can this be related to the distribution as
Andreas Kasenides is having a similar problem?
Mike, in which distribution are you running ndoutils?
I am using nagios-2.0 and ndoutils-1.3, the problem also occurred in
ndoutils-1.2.
