BSS DB1,2/CRM going down and up

There is few platforms on Negios XI going down and coming up, when the services/source is unable to ping it goes red , and Negios tool shows CRM, DB1,2 MDW1,2 DOWN and after a few minutes automatically comes up.
anyone has experience and can tell how investigate this issue.

Any idea why Nagios is unable to ping the devices? I would start there.

I can ping / able to ping but every 5 Minutes drop the connection and lost the ping services

no idea but I am able to ping and every 5 Minutes lost the connection and unable to ping/ lost the ping services .

It seems more like a network issue, then a nagios issue.
