Considering that the sendmail log is not showing duplicate messages sent, and does log an entry per message sent, this would not be the same issue. Thanks for the hint though!

Have you looked at the sendmail logs, or the nagios log for notifications sent, or the relay that sendmail is forwarding to? I'm sorry that this is happening, but more detailed information is needed to really assist you.

Nagios notification log is having only one entry. I dont know what is sendemail log and how to check that log. I've requested my consultant to check the mail relay logs.

The maillog is what you showed earlier in which only one email was sent out from the Nagios server per alert. Now.. as I mentioned in the followup post, all the mail you showed us occurred in the same second, so it would be nice to see a larger grab of that logfile. Would you be able to run another test notification but this time:

If I send custom notification, then all contact members are receiving only one email. For Services Critical/Recovery and Host Down/recovery I'm getting multiple alerts.

Could you post the logs? Or PM them?

Did you say you were using Sendmail or SendEmail? Did you make any configuration changes to your MTA? Since all of your issues are email configuration based right now it would seem that is the case. This is not default behavior by any means.

No I didn't use sendemail and I didnt change any configuration.
