Lets check the spool for file accumulation - what is the output of:

Code: Select all

ls /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults | wc -l
ls /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/perfdata | wc -l
ls /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/xidpe | wc -l

Run the following command every 30 seconds for 2 minutes. post each of the outputs:

Code: Select all

ls /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults | wc -l
I want to see if the number is going down.

Ok, they decreased in size. No new data on those graphs yet? (there will still be an empty section of the graphs)
Lets check the apache logs. Try to browse to a graph and then check the logs:

Code: Select all

tail -25 /var/log/httpd/error_log

Here's the graph at this point:

Here's the output from trying to go there:

Code: Select all

Is that check reporting perfdata? Go to Home --> Service Details --> click on the service --> Advanced tab --> What is on the "performance data" line?

The only thing I am noticing, and why I pointed out the virtual memory percent as well, is the % after the number without a space. This may or may not be the issue, but I did experience a similar case of anything that was not a number concatenated with my performance data variable was not read in properly. I will look into the documentation to see if this is the case, but you might just want to remove that % from the perfdata as it doesn't really help you in any way.

Hey sreinhardt,
Any news on this? Also, how would I remove the % from the perfdata line?
