Why is the Dag Wiers repo necessary for doing a manual installation of Nagios XI? What does it get from that repo?
After the installation, can I switch back to my local repository on my satellite server? If so, any idea how?
I already posted this question on the pre-sales board, but that seems to have disappeared. Once the question was approved by the moderators, that board either disappeared, or I no longer have access to it.

Re: Manual installation - Dag Wiers repo
The extra repos are necessary for a few perl libraries and other miscellaneous things that the Red Hat repos just don't include yet, or have too old of a version. If your local repository is also mirroring those extra repos you could use it for the installation, and if not you could disable the dag one after completing the installation, with the precaution that those packages won't get any updates that are released.
