Monitoring oracle health like database ping,table space

Hi ,

Iam new to Nagios setup.I been working to setup oracel health check like database ping and table space.also I need to setup email ,sms notification.Please advice on this.

For your Oracle health checking you can always take a look in Exchange. Right off the bat this plugin looks promising.

General notifications are discussed here and SMS is discussed in a video and over at ServerFault.
