I recently did a fresh install of nagios. I setup all the configuration files and added hosts and services. When I get a problem it just gives me this:
Code: Select all
Notification Type: PROBLEM
Service: $
Host: hostname
Address: ipaddress
State: $
Date/Time: date/time Additional info: $
It doesn't give me any detail of what the actual problem is, is there anything I need to change in settings?

What version of nagios are you running? Are you using environment variables in your notification commands?

Maybe this would be better to ask on a FAN forum. I am running a preconfigured installation of Nagios 3.4.4 on FAN with Centreon.
