Solved - Issue with PHP and

Post by tecnalb »

subscribing nagiosxi user trying a 60 day nagiosna eval.

A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Warning

Message: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/New_York' for 'EST/-5.0/no DST' instead

Filename: libraries/Email.php

Line Number: 704

I verified the php.ini was set to America/New_York.... not sure what else to try here.

OK, so this was a new build. And the default /etc/php.ini had the mistyped "America/New_York" as "America/New York" with no "_" in it.
