1) Are these all esx checks?
2) How many of them are currently failing (and timing out)?
3) Could you post a screenshot of the check latency statistics?

The majority are ESX checks and it is timing out only on the Vmware devices.

The esx checks are CPU intensive. Your server's performance can be affected if you have too many esx checks, especially if some of them are timing out... Are the esx checks configured properly?

Yes, they are properly configured. How do I lower the amount of esx checks or do I have to remove some of the Guest OS services?

Well, this is dependent on your environment and how you configured them. You have a few basic options, you can remove some of the non mission critical checks against your ESX hosts, you could increase the check interval, and retry interval if a critical state change is detected. Depending on what type of servers these ESX hosts are operating on you can replace some of the hardware level checks with a less performance impeding check solution such as passive checks, or less intensive active checks such as NRPE, or NCPA.

Maybe just lower their interval to 10 or 15 minutes instead of 5.

I am currently doing that now. Thank you. I am going to lower the interval to 15 min.

Would you happen to know why when some of our users log in they are getting the following error "Sorry Davey I can't let you do that".
I changed the time zone so that is correct, but the time is not correct. Right now it should say 3:46pm, but this is what it says:

Sometimes, you need to restart the server before changes take effect.
