Hi,
I have setup a nagios user who as has got access to 22 hosts and that's fine it works and Nagios shows it up as well.

But when I go into hostgroups summary, it shows all hosts (48). Why??? I want it to show me same 22 instead of 48.

Can you please help ASAP??

Blocking view access to all hosts and limit to specfic hosts

What sort of access rights did you give this user? It doesn't seem odd at all that s/he could see how many hosts are in a hostgroup, but depending on the rights may or may not be able to view them specifically.

This actually a bug that has been around quite a while. The user can see all members of a hostgroup from the hostgroup summary page, even if they only have rights to a select few. The user should still be restricted from drilling down into the details of objects they are not authorized for.
