View or dashboard with only the critical services

Post by WillemDH »

Hello,

Is it possible to have a dashlet or view with only the critical and warnings services in a particular servicegroup? I've been looking for a way, but can't find it..

Go to "Servicegroup Overview" right click on the warning/critical next to the servicegroup you are interested in and "Copy Link Location" then use this URL in the View.

Also, if you are on the page you can click the pink/purple page icon to go to a filtered view for just that servicegroup, this will also show you a filtered "Service Status Summary" in the top right, you can then get the URL for each "filtered status type from that dashlet and add them to a view.

Is there a way to get the name of the overview to stick?

Good question. If not possible yet, you should definitely make a feature request for it.. :)

It's definitely working on my box. You're using 2.7? I am on a testing revision of 2014 so it is possible it was included after 2.7.

Where are you viewing this dashlet? In a named dashboard?

On 2014 this works reliably - dashlets always display their custom title.
