Re: Resize disk
Ok, I'll have to talk with one of the vmware admins I suppose then, since I'm sure I wouldn't have access to doing that. So, just so I have the process clear when I go over and talk to them. I need them to load an iso (any that you would recommend in particular?) to vmware and boot that image. Then, from that perform the necessary steps (in the guide you linked) to resize the partition. Am I missing anything?

Re: Resize disk
That sounds about right, as much as I don't like it, ubuntu is probably the easiest livecd to use, and should have all the needed tools. Plus you can use gparted then, which will make life much easier and more straightforward for you, as its a graphical front end and is very intelligent about how it does things like resizing.

Re: Resize disk
Any tricks you know to make the VM boot from the image? We found a bootable iso of gparted and are trying to boot to it, but everytime we reboot the server it only gives us the option to boot to the OS, not the image. I'm not overly familiar with centOS, nor are my vmware admins, so we're having a tough time figuring out why it won't boot the disk.
