The nrpe protocol is included with nsclient. You will need to configure the nsclient config to use it though.
If you wish to move this to the ticketing system, send an email to
[email protected].
Is this a windows of linux host?

Maybe. Could you post you nsclient config in code wraps and the full command from XI you are trying to check?
