You notifications table may be gigantic. This can happen if you were generating lots and lots of alerts for a long period of time.

Code: Select all

ls -lah /var/lib/mysql/nagios | grep notifications

Please run the following when trying to access one of the pages which takes a very long time to load:

Code: Select all

tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log

tail -f /var/log/mysqld.log
"You will have to try to load the page two times, once for each command above."

Once the page loads, please copy all of the output you get from those commands, and paste them into a reply here. Be sure to use the built in code wrappers in the forum when submitting the reply. Thanks MSPK!

We have this environment on the trial version, though we have licenses we are awaiting client approval before we apply them. Now the issue is that this trail version is valid only for another 8 days, what would be the condsequences if we go past the trail period? would the server stop monitoring the target systems? will be able able to access the system - login to nagios and access CCM, etc..

You will be limited to 7 monitored nodes in the "free" version. If you need an extension, contact [email protected]

We have configured close to 100 servers and 300 websites. Will these configurations be lost if the the licenses are not applied before the trail period ends?

I have applied the licenses, however we have now realised that the license is for 100-200 nodes. Can you please suggest how we can revert back to the trial version till we get an updated license as we are not able to access some of the features - we get a banner saying upgrade your license.
