Ping without warning/critical possible (check if up/down)?

You are correct, if this is for a HOST check, anything over 2 will be marked red.

HOST's do not have an "UNKNOWN" only OK, DOWN, UNREACHABLE

And the only way for it to be unreachable is if the hosts parent is DOWN
