It looks like the quicktime plugin is failing . . . You will need to resolve that before the nagios plugin can be expected to work . . .

"Internet Explorer" does not have an addon available for it. Nor is it "arguably" as expandable as Firefox. It is a third party addon we don't have control over.

Let's step back and make sure you configured the add-on. Go to Tools->Add-ons, find the "Nagios Checker" add on and click on "Options". Make sure you configure all of the required options, including sounds. After you do this, you can view the status of your hosts/services on the bottom of the screen, on the "Add-on" bar. You may have to show it by going to: View->Toolbars->Add-on bar.
