Nagios critical problems with monitoring engine

I don't see any issue with it either.
But then again, there might be something that I don't know.
Why would RH make that file 600 anyway?

This is an interesting one, have you tried creating downtime yet? Home > Scheduled Downtime, or Home > Hosts/Services > Host/Service name > Advanced > Downtime.
