After installing mail

now I am getting this message but not receiving any emails.

A test email was sent to [email protected]

Is the contact in question a Nagios XI user, or just a contact?

Do you need to use smtp to send to the contact, or can your nagios sever send the mail directly?

I think either one is fine with me

Well, currently you are trying to send directly through sendmail. Lets check the maillogs:

It looks like you have an issue with your sendmail configuration, or the address the mail is trying to be routed to, this may be of help:
