Hmm, the command-line data looks good. I'm not sure why it's showing up like that in the UI. Lets have you check a couple of things.

On the command-line, run:

Code: Select all

service npcd restart
Also, go to the Admin->Xi System Component Status dashlet and make sure that performance graphing is turned on.

Try changing one of the service settings to "process perf data" to "on", and see if it starts graphing (it may take a little while). If the graphing starts then the previous person may have turned it off in one of the base templates like "xiwizard_generic_service."

I have restarted the service and verified that the 'performance grapher' is running. I also went in and manually turned on the check for cpu on this host.

It is odd that this first host server for ping is graphing properly and the others are not. Here is a graph from the past 4 hours, I turned on the cpu check about 1 hour ago:

I'll run some tests on this and see what I can figure out. If you can send a few text examples of the performance data that you're receiving that would be helpful.

I created a test service with the same check and parameters as your windows CPULOAD check, and everything is working ok at the moment. Just out of curiosity, what linux distro and version are you running this on?

Can you also take a look in your php.ini file and make sure that all "magic quotes" settings are turned off?

Also, try running:

Code: Select all

service npcd restart
If you haven't already.

Would you be interested in attempting to resolve this with a remote session? It'd probably have to be sometime on Wednesday from 9:30am-4pm CST, or else it will have to wait until next week. If that will work send me a PM or email our support team with a time that will work for you, and we'll send you a URL at the specified time.
