The port will need to be open as we have stated. SNMP traffic is passed through this port.

As per OEM document SNMP string and port setting is done. On network also port 161 is open, but still not getting output.
You have any document for SNMP setting for SNMP and another way to monitoring.

... but it is still closed. This is not an issue with the nagios server, but with your network, or a piece of network hardware (like a firewall/router), or the firewall/ipatbles on the remote system, or maybe the snmp daemon is not running on the remote server.

You have 2 options. Active check snmp oids through port 161, or send traps from the remote system to XI. My suggestion would be to track down why the remote system reports the port as closed.
Is the remote system you are attempting to monitor a server or a network device (router/switch/etc)?

BlueCoat is a device using for proxy, it is box provided by BlueCoat and manage through browser.
Model is BlueCoat ProxySG 600
