Hi abrist,
Thanks for the replay.
I ran the command you suggested then couple of patches got updated. then i ran the vmware install scripts and but got the same error and then i ran the below command and gave couple of try and run the below command.
yum -y install openssl-devel perl-Archive-Zip perl-Class-MethodMaker uuid-perl perl-SOAP-Lite perl-XML-SAX perl-XML-NamespaceSupport perl-XML-LibXML perl-MIME-Lite perl-MIME-Types perl-MailTools perl-TimeDate uuid libuuid perl-Data-Dump perl-UUID .
and finally able to install the vmware SDK. and in the installation end that showed “Enjoy, --the VMware team"

let me proceed to the next step... if will face any issues then keep you posted.
