Again in reference to abrist and slansing. Do you have something n your system that runs around every 6 hours such as scheduled backups, an apply config, or other external interaction with the system?

Unfortunately a process list will not answer Sreinhardt's question, we need to know if you have configured anything on this server besides what is shipped default with Nagios XI. Is this just a standard Nagios XI VM with no modifications or additions of additional applications/packages not otherwise present by default? Lets at least clear those zombie processes up:

Code: Select all

service nagios stop
killall -9 nagios
service nagios start
That should remove the defunct nagios processes. Are your other hosts/services getting graphs? Are they showing up but sporadically? A screenshot over a 24 hour period on a working graph would be great.

Forgive me if I am wrong but it does not look like your original issue had to do with performance graphs specifically, you quoted plugin output from a bandwidth check showing 0 usage in/out on that interface, is this the true issue?

Thanks for your reply:
I've actually encountered several problems and one of these is that the current value nagiosxi my interface is consuming at all shows the value of 0M is not presented; where I can check to fix this; had checked the forum, and some recommended review perfdata why attach the logs, then please help me, I should check to nagios me this again the values of bandwidth ports.
If you have installed other packages to the server, which are:

69 yum install svn
110 yum install mod_wsgi
129 yum install snmptt
132 yum install MySQL-python
178 yum install Python
179 yum install net-snmp net-snmp-libs net-snmp-utils net-snmp-perl perl-Net-SNMP net-snmp-devel
235 yum install MySQL-python
256 yum install Net-SNMP Perl
282 yum install perl
283 yum install perl-Net-SNMP
284 yum install perl-Config-IniFiles
342 yum install tcpdump
690 yum install ntp
713 yum install system-config-date
873 yum install htop

Some of these packages may have caused and not the consumption of bandwidth is present:
Currently this is how it shows

OK - Current BW in: 0Mbps Out: 0Mbps

I don't see how those you listed would be effecting this, you should be fine.

Are all of your port bandwidth checks showing 0 i/o for their bandwidth usage? Try running the following from the XI server's SSH session and show us the output:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_rrdtraf -f /var/lib/mrtg/bsw_sw1mvcolevrocafuerte_Gi1_0_1_Bandwidth.rrd -w 20,20 -c 50,50 -l M

NOTE: Replace the .rrd with one that you know has current and constant usage and should be displaying bandwidth throughput. Tmcdonald is currently in a remote session with another user who's localization differs from standard US_English, we're looking into that being the possible culprit here as well.

Help Me

All my hosts and services with this status are

Host check is pending...

I do not understand because all the teams have changed, where can reverse this change

Without knowing what the changes were it's difficult to tell you what you need to do... does anyone in your team know what was changed? Are they still pending? Can you send a screenshot of the Advanced tab of one of these hosts? What is the output of:

Code: Select all

service ndo2db status

service nagios status

service mysqld status

Code: Select all

ll /usr/local/nagios/var

Code: Select all

tail -40 /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log

tail -40 /var/log/messages
Please remember to wrap all of that output in CODE wraps, select your code chunks and click the Code button in your reply, that will wrap it.
