You didn't redefine the interval_length to 30 in nagios.cfg, did you?

$ grep ^interval /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
interval_length=60

thanks for reply ..i have changed my check, retry,max=10,5,2 respectively..lets see if this shows some effect in report
